Lead Product Manager

THE ROLE

You'll lead several related product areas, or one of unusual regulatory weight, and own the big launches yourself. It is a hands-on role, not a management layer: you ship, and you make the product managers around you better. We're hiring across trading and execution (order routing, settlement, corporate actions), tax-efficient investing and pensions (ISAs, SIPPs and German pension accounts), crypto, and client accounts and payments (onboarding, client money, cards and FX). WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Set direction and priorities across your areas, from client needs, product data and commercial goals
• Read the regulation, the API documentation and the operational process yourself, and form the position before Legal and Compliance review it
• Write the spec for the launches you lead, detailed enough to build and test from
• Carry decisions through delivery with Engineering, Design, Legal, Compliance and Operations
• Take products through testing and launch, then run them
• Review other product managers' research, decisions and specs, and help hire

WHAT YOU NEED

TO HAVE

• A complex product you shipped yourself and can walk through in detail, including where it broke: a rounding rule, a time zone, a position you argued, an API that changed under you

• Enough technical understanding to read documentation, follow a data flow and reason about system behaviour with engineers

• Your own numbers: you query the data yourself and can explain every figure you quote

• Regular use of AI in product work, checked against documentation, data and other primary sources

• Product decisions across related areas, and product managers who got better because you reviewed their work
