Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company for unmanned systems across air, land and maritime domains. We develop and scale integrated hardware, software and AI-powered solutions for mission-critical operations. By combining autonomous platforms with intelligent software and AI, Quantum Systems enables customers to operate, understand and act across domains.
Our new flight-control system is already alive and flying. Now we want to make it faster, sharper and more capable. As our Flight Control & State Estimation Engineer, you will push the performance of our interceptor to the next level. You will improve how precisely it estimates its state, how quickly it reacts and how aggressively it can operate without compromising stability or robustness. From advanced estimation and control algorithms to embedded Rust optimization and flight-test analysis, your work will have a direct and measurable impact on aircraft performance.
• Improve state estimation using Kalman filters, particle filters and other advanced estimation methods.
You do not need to cover every discipline equally. We are looking for deep expertise in either state estimation or flight control, and the ability to understand their interaction as one complete system.
Quantum Systems specializes in the development, design, and production of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). The company’s range of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) sUAS are built to maximize range and versatility and to provide operators with a seamless user experience. By integrating cutting-edge software capabilities, like edge computing and real-time AI-powered data processing, Quantum Systems is building next-generation UAS for clients in the defense, security, and public sectors.
