Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) - IT Infrastructure Services

We're looking for a motivated and driven IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have a direct influence on our success. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you lead the efforts of maintaining and improving our global identity and access management platform as a coherent set of highly available services following our cloud-focused strategy. It is your responsibility to identify improvement opportunities, drive identity projects, and build a unified, scalable environment. Based in Germany and the US, our IT Infrastructure Services team designs, implements, and manages global cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions to provide Flix with internal business services such as identity and access management, security and compliance configuration, communication tools, file sharing, 3rd-level support, and infrastructure consulting.

About the Role

• Integrate new internal and external applications into our identity infrastructure (e.g., SSO ) following best practices

• Work on projects to improve internal role-based access control concepts

• Consult other teams and guide them to success, leveraging our services especially regarding identity and access management

• Drive innovation and improve our services together with the team

• Automate recurring tasks

• Design the future IT infrastructure of Flix

About You

• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID or similar identity and access management platforms

• Advanced knowledge of modern authentication protocols ( OIDC , OAuth 2.0, and SAML )

• At least 3 years of scripting experience (ideally with Python)

• At least 1 year of experience with IaC solutions (preferably Terraform)

• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to streamline infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and daily operations

• Basic experience using APIs

• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

• Experience working with IaaS solutions is a plus

• Basic knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) or web technologies is a plus

• Experience with M365 products (such as Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams) is a plus We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
