About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR-Generalist / Personalreferent (m/w/d) to join our team at the Friedrichsdorf location near Bad Homburg. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact within our HR department by actively shaping processes and implementing innovative ideas. Your primary responsibilities will include employee support, personnel data management, contract and documentation handling, and participation in HR projects. You will act as the first point of contact for approximately 400 employees, ensuring smooth HR operations and adherence to company policies. Your role involves maintaining accurate personnel records in SAP, preparing employment-related documents, and coordinating measures such as onboarding and offboarding procedures with the works council. Additionally, you will analyze time tracking data, generate reports, and support compliance with legal requirements related to employment, social security, and tax regulations. Active involvement in HR projects, such as the implementation of new HR management software, will allow you to contribute to the continuous development of our HR processes. This position offers a dynamic environment where your ideas and expertise will directly influence our HR strategy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a completed commercial apprenticeship with further qualification as a HR specialist (Personalfachkaufmann/-frau) or a bachelor's degree with HR focus. You should have several years of hands-on experience in operational HR, preferably within an industrial or medium-sized enterprise. A solid understanding of employment law, social security, and tax regulations is essential, along with the ability to apply this knowledge confidently in daily HR activities. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with modern HR software, ideally SAP, are required. Strong communication skills are vital, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with employees and management at all levels. A structured, meticulous working style with a proactive mindset is expected, along with fluency in German (C2 level) and good command of English. Flexibility to travel occasionally to other locations is also desirable.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR contact for approximately 400 employees, managing operational HR tasks and ensuring consistent process implementation.Maintain and update personnel master data in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and integrity at all times.Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and other personnel documents; coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes with the works council.Analyze weekly time tracking data using tisoware, identify anomalies, and address them in collaboration with managers.Create and issue HR-related certificates such as A1 certificates and generate reports on absence rates, headcount, and other HR metrics.Contribute to HR projects, including the rollout of new HR management software, and propose process improvements based on your insights and experience.Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to employment, social security, and taxation.Support internal communication initiatives and foster a positive working environment through active participation in team activities and events.

Our flexible working hours are based on a Gleitzeit model, allowing you to work between 07:30 and 18:30, with core hours from 09:15 to 15:30 Monday through Thursday, and until 12:15 on Fridays.
