bunch is building the backbone of private markets. We are enabling next-gen fund operations with one integrated system that combines secure data infrastructure, AI-powered workflows and expert fund services.
Your Role
As Senior Partnerships Manager at bunch, you will be a senior individual contributor owning the partnership function across our core markets: the partners who send us clients, and the specialist providers who help us service those mandates end-to-end. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role. You will personally build the channel that brings clients in, develop the provider network that lets us keep them, and establish the systems behind the function.
This is a revenue-generating role with direct impact on ARR, and it is also serviceability-critical. The near-term mandate is to prove and scale the partnerships motion through direct execution. As the function matures, there is potential to shape the future operating model and build a team.
You will:
- Own the partnership program across bunch's core markets—UK, Germany, and Luxembourg.
- Personally identify, sign, and activate referral and channel partners, including fund formation counsel, placement agents, banks, audit advisors, and tax advisors.
- Convert partner relationships into qualified pipeline and measurable partner-sourced ARR.
- Structure and maintain relationships with regulated and specialist providers, including depositaries, AML officers, ManCos, auditors, and onboarding, compliance, accounting, and tax specialists.
- Close capability gaps so bunch can service fund mandates end-to-end across our markets, with particular focus on Luxembourg's regulated-provider network.
- Own commercial negotiation, pricing, and scope across partnerships.
- Build the infrastructure behind the channel from day one: tracking partner introductions, conversion to clients, partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, and activation timelines.
- Partner with Commercial and Marketing on joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Represent bunch at key industry events and forums across our markets.
- Use data and market feedback to recommend when and how the function should expand.
The Two Pillars of the Role
- Grow the channel: Personally identify, sign, and activate referral and channel partners that convert into qualified pipeline at scale.
- Close the capability map: Identify, structure, and maintain relationships with specialist and regulated providers.
What Success Looks Like
- Acting as the hands-on owner of partnerships rather than delegating execution.
- Setting strategy and priorities while also sourcing, negotiating, activating, and expanding partnerships directly.
- Influencing senior stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Product, and leadership.
- Creating a repeatable operating model, clear metrics, and evidence of commercial impact.
What This Role Does Not Own
- Immediate people management: this is not a team-lead role on day one.
- Day-to-day service delivery: operational delivery sits with the relevant operations owners.
- All strategic platform partnerships: marquee, leadership-level relationships remain shared with bunch's leadership team.
About You
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in partnerships, business development, or a senior client-facing role within fund administration, fund services, fintech, or professional services.
- Strong understanding of private markets and how fund managers actually operate.
- A track record of building something from scratch, such as a partner programme, new market, or commercial channel.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity, creating structure as you go.
- A senior operator who remains energised by direct execution.
- Commercially sharp: you understand how referral and delivery partnerships work.
- Able to hold credible senior conversations with law firms, depositaries, regulated providers, and professional services firms.
- Strong cross-functional partner to Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and leadership teams.
- Organised and systems-oriented.
- Fluent in the language of private markets, including fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, and the regulatory environment.
- Existing relationships in the UK and/or European VC/PE ecosystem.
- Willing and able to travel regularly across bunch's markets.
