In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing scalable data pipelines on the Azure platform, particularly utilizing Azure Databricks. You will be responsible for building and evolving our Data-Lakehouse architecture, ensuring data quality, security, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle. Collaborating closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders in an agile environment, you will actively contribute to shaping and advancing our data strategy and architecture.

Strong expertise in data modeling techniques, including Kimball and Data Vault, is essential.

You must have excellent skills in working with Azure Databricks, Spark, and programming languages like Python or Scala. Experience in building and managing ETL/ELT processes using modern Data Engineering tools is required, along with solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and the ability to work independently are key attributes.

Proficiency in German and good command of English are also necessary to succeed in this role.ResponsibilitiesYour core responsibilities will include the development and continuous optimization of data pipelines on the Azure platform, with a focus on Azure Databricks. You will be tasked with establishing, maintaining, and enhancing our Data-Lakehouse architecture to facilitate efficient data storage and retrieval. Designing and implementing automated ETL/ELT processes will be crucial to ensure seamless data integration from diverse source systems.

You will oversee data transformation, validation, and quality assurance measures to uphold data integrity and security throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, you will actively participate in shaping our data strategy, contributing innovative ideas to improve data architecture and processes.
