Your Future Tasks Will Include

Develop and enhance a modular PLC software platform within an industrial machinery environmentDesign and implement object-oriented PLC structures (e.g. according to IEC 61131-3, OOP in Structured Text)Integrate modern communication standards such as OPC UA, MQTT, and edge solutions for data connectivity and digitalizationContribute to the implementation of state-of-the-art CI/CD processes, automated testing, and version control (Git)Ensure software quality and reusability through modern development guidelines and clean code principlesInternational cooperation and close exchange within an interdisciplinary and intercultural team, as well as active participation in shaping an open, learning-oriented team cultureShare knowledge, mentor colleagues, and encourage innovative approaches

Qualifications, Experiences And Personal Skills You Possess

Successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable field of studyRelevant experience in PLC programming (e.g. Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens TIA Portal, CODESYS, or similar)Strong knowledge of object-oriented PLC programming and modular software architectureExperience with OPC UA, edge computing, or IoT integrations advantageousFamiliarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows is desirableInterest in dealing with topics such as software quality, clean code, and automationTeam-oriented approach to work, good communication skills, and a willingness to actively share knowledge
