About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Yepoda. This role will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with German accounting standards, and supporting the team as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing
• Assist and take ownership with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation
• Support during the statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations
• Support on implementing ERP system and setting up new projects and flows from scratch
• Prepare cash flow statements and monitor cash on hand
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support other departments with financial insights

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting
• Fluent in English; German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentality
• Experience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plus
• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and experience with Oracle NetSuite are a plus
