Beam's AI Agent Deployment team sits at the intersection of AI, product, and client impact, working closely with customers to identify opportunities for automation and deploy intelligent systems that deliver measurable results, across workflow design, agent configuration, prompt engineering, and technical integrations.

About the Role

As a Forward Deployment Engineer, you'll work directly with enterprise customers to turn complex business processes into reliable, AI-powered automations, owning deployments from initial discovery through production.

What You'll Do

  • Own AI deployments end-to-end, from requirements through solution design, implementation, testing, and production deployment.
  • Work directly with customers to identify high-value automation opportunities and translate them into AI agent solutions.
  • Design and build agentic workflows using Beam's Agent OS, including workflow decomposition, agent configuration, and prompt engineering.
  • Build and manage integrations with customer systems, working with APIs and client-side technical teams.
  • Manage delivery across multiple stakeholders, communicating clearly with both technical teams and executives.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in a client-facing technical role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Deployment Engineer, Customer Engineer, or similar).
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated prompt engineering expertise, systematically writing, testing, and optimizing prompts in production settings.
  • Solid API knowledge and integration experience.
