Help Build Europe's Hypersonic Capability
At Hypersonica, we're redefining what's possible in European defence technology. We exist to deliver speed, resilience, and technological independence at a pace that sets a new standard. We are a small, elite team working on problems that matter, and solving them fast.
What You'll Do
- Own Avionics Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) delivery, ensuring avionics hardware is built, integrated, and verified correctly from component level through vehicle integration
- Develop avionics assembly, integration, and test procedures directly from requirements and engineering drawings
- Translate design intent into clear, executable build instructions, defining tooling, torque specifications, parts, consumables, work sequences, and verification steps
- Define and maintain avionics wiring, harness, and pinout diagrams, ensuring correct electrical interfaces and configuration control
- Create and execute avionics test procedures, validating functionality, interfaces, and readiness prior to higher-level integration
- Ensure avionics AIT activities meet quality, reliability, and safety standards, suitable for aerospace and defence environments
- Work closely with avionics design, systems, and vehicle AIT teams to resolve integration issues
- Own avionics-related non-conformance identification, documentation, and resolution
Who You Are
- An Avionics AIT Manager or Senior Avionics Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in electronics or electrical assembly environments
- Background in aerospace avionics manufacturing and assembly is preferred, with automotive electronics experience also acceptable
- Experienced developing avionics wiring diagrams, harness definitions, and pinouts
- Strong understanding of electronic hardware build processes, tooling, torque control, and workmanship standards
- Confident managing multiple avionics workstreams and maintaining configuration control under schedule pressure
What We Offer
A mission driven environment working on one of Europe's most consequential defence challenges, high ownership and autonomy with no time tracking, a fast paced environment where good ideas are implemented quickly, and competitive compensation with real share options.
