About The Role

The Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter (m/w/d) to join the Fachdienst Personal und Organisation at the Bad Belzig location. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes within the Kreisverwaltung, ensuring the acquisition of qualified and suitable candidates to support the organization’s objectives. Your expertise will contribute to shaping the workforce of the future by developing effective recruitment strategies, engaging with potential applicants, and fostering a positive employer brand. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, professionalism, and a commitment to public service. The role is classified under entgeltgruppe 9c TVöD (VKA), with a workload of up to 39 hours per week, and is offered on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree (Bachelor, Diplom) in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a comparable field. Alternatively, a recognized qualification as Verwaltungsfachwirt/in will also be considered. Prior experience in recruitment or human resources, particularly in public administration or similar sectors, is highly desirable. Knowledge of marketing principles, especially in personal marketing and Active Sourcing, will be advantageous. Candidates should have a solid understanding of employment law, collective bargaining agreements, civil service regulations, and personnel law. Strong communication skills, advisory competence, and the ability to work independently and meticulously are essential. Empathy, a collaborative approach, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders are also critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive recruitment procedures for various positions within the Kreisverwaltung, from job posting to onboarding.Create compelling job advertisements, manage applicant databases, and coordinate interview processes to select the best-fit candidates.Develop and implement innovative personnel marketing strategies to enhance the organization's employer brand and attract top talent.Provide expert advice and coordinate with department leaders regarding staffing needs, candidate selection, and recruitment best practices.Engage in Active Sourcing techniques to proactively identify and approach potential candidates through various channels.Plan and execute targeted recruiting campaigns, participate in job fairs, and organize job-messe events to boost visibility and attract applicants.Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and ensure compliance with applicable legal and organizational standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and employer branding initiatives.
