About The Role

We are seeking a versatile and passionate Frontend/Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Berlin-Tempelhof. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing intuitive, complex web interfaces using Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks. Your responsibilities will extend beyond frontend development to encompass UI/UX design, backend API maintenance with PHP and Yii2, and integration of AI tools into our workflows. The position offers a unique opportunity to work across various aspects of software development, including DevOps, infrastructure management, and video technology, in a collaborative environment that values innovation and proactive thinking. You will contribute directly to the evolution of our products, impacting global clients and the future of film technology.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess solid experience with Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks, demonstrating the ability to develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Proficiency in PHP, particularly with Yii2 or comparable frameworks, is essential, along with a strong command of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. A keen eye for UI/UX design and the capability to make independent design decisions are highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with video encoding/transcoding (FFMPEG), security best practices, and performance optimization will be advantageous. Experience with AI integration, especially agent-based AI tools like Claude Code and Codex, is a plus. Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical to thriving in our innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include conceptualizing and developing complex web interfaces that are both functional and intuitive, utilizing Vue.js and Element+. You will actively participate in UI/UX design processes, from wireframes to final implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience. Maintaining and enhancing our PHP/Yii2-based APIs and backend services will be a key aspect of your role. You will evaluate and incorporate AI tools into our development workflows, exploring innovative ways to improve our products. Additionally, you will contribute to DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline management, deployment, and server administration. Systematic bug fixing, quality assurance, and performance tuning across the entire stack will be part of your ongoing tasks. Occasionally, you will work with embedded video players and FFMPEG-based transcoding pipelines, supporting our video technology needs.
