About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Customer Service Manager / Project Manager R&D / Development Engineer (m/w/d) to join our Research and Development team at our site in Alfeld (Leine) near Hildesheim. In this role, you will serve as a key technical interface between our company and our international customers, providing proactive support and expert advice throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding and analyzing customer requirements, managing and executing innovation and product development projects, and acting as a technical point of contact during product development processes. You will collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will handle customer complaints, document project data, and maintain records in our ERP system proAlpha, contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a successfully completed technical degree, such as Wirtschaftsingenieur (Industrial Engineer) or Verpackungstechnologie (Packaging Technology). You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to approach people confidently, make decisions decisively, and assert yourself effectively. A strong desire to make a tangible impact through your work, combined with openness to international travel for technical customer support, is essential. You should have a structured, goal-oriented, and responsible work approach, with a capacity to develop creative solutions and adapt to new ideas. Proficiency in both German and English, along with good MS Office skills, is required to facilitate communication and documentation in a global environment.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include:
Providing responsible and proactive technical support and consultation to customers across all stages of product management, serving as a technical team member in pre- and after-sales service.Identifying and conducting structured analyses of current and future customer requirements to tailor solutions accordingly.Managing and independently executing various projects related to innovation and product development, ensuring timely and successful delivery.Acting as a technical contact for product development initiatives, collaborating with sales, procurement, and manufacturing teams to align project goals.Handling customer complaints effectively, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and satisfactorily.Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data, project results, and customer interactions within the ERP system proAlpha to ensure transparency and traceability.
