
Human Resources ManagerThe Human Resources Manager is a dynamic and experienced HR leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function and ensuring consistent, compliant execution of the full employee life cycle across the organization. The role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, and corporate departments while providing leadership, guidance, and oversight to the HR team.The Human Resources Manager leads and supports the Human Resources Business Partners in delivering core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, SOPs, NIB administration, and HR reporting. The role ensures HR policies, procedures, and disciplinary processes are applied fairly, consistently, and in accordance with the Bahamas Employment Act, the Employee Handbook, and internal Standard Operating Procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Team LeadershipOversee daily HR operations across multiple brands and locationsSupervise HR Business Partners and HR support staffProvide coaching, guidance, and performance management to HR team membersEnsure HR service standards, timelines, and deliverables are metEmployee Relations & ComplianceManage and support employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actionsEnsure consistent and lawful application of HR policies and proceduresMaintain working knowledge of labour laws and employment regulationsSupport Labour Board conciliations and documentation requirementsRecruitment, Onboarding & Workforce SupportOversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely, compliant hiringMonitor onboarding schedules, orientation delivery, and documentation accuracyTrack turnover trends and workforce movementPayroll, Systems & Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate with Payroll to resolve employee pay and system issuesEnsure accuracy and integrity of employee data in HR systemsIdentify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiativesCoordinate with Finance, IT, Operations, and other departments on employee-related mattersReporting & Continuous ImprovementTrack HR metrics including turnover, onboarding compliance, and response timelinesReview HR reports for accuracy and consistencySupport improvements to HR systems, processes, and service deliveryQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilityStrong knowledge of the Bahamas Employment Act and HR best practicesExperience in retail, QSR, hospitality, or multi-location environments preferredStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systemsInterested candidates are invited to upload their résumé as part of the application process.Job Categories: Administration (Headquarters)Job Types: Full TimeJob Locations: NassauBrands: Wendy'sSorry!
